Half Way Up The Hill

some months ago to use up some or all of my odd bites and pieces of 8 ply I decided to make a blanket made of colourful squares. These are knitted onto each other and as you can see in the photo I try to keep any same colours away from each other...it is a tv watching blanket that doesn’t take any concentration which suits me sometimes..lol.. I have now fly stitched on all the leaves and added a hanging basket of flowers. So cute Yesterday I took my mum and dad to the lake for lunch and to sit in the beautiful May sunshine. It was a perfect day. I took a couple of shots Tata for now xx

Well I am starting this blog in the hope that I will get on and finish some if not all my ufos from years ago.. Today I will start with the quilt wall hanging I started a few weeks ago. This is my progress with Round the Garden by Wendy Williams. It is made fully of wooden felt and I’m enjoying it so far. It is really lovely working with wooden felt as it doesn’t go out of shape to fray. Autumn is here and it gets dark really early these days.. Tata for now
