I haven’t forgotten

Well it’s nearly 2 years since I have posted on here. Hyllarkin is still sitting on the hill but I haven’t been out to see you for well over a year. My dad took sick last year on the 1 st June and was classed palliative...I stayed with mum for 16 weeks until dad was stable then came home. I visit most days but I won’t go away from the mountains as I need to be close for mum in case she needs me...which means I don’t go anywhere over night  they live approx 4 to 5 mins from me..
Life has changed ..in June of this year Phill and I took on a new challenge in life in the way of a foster child...I can’t tell you much only she is with us for 12 months on a programme that restores her back to her mum..we are 2 months into the programme which has been nothing but challenging for both of us. We have semi retired with phill working 3 days a week and me 2 to 4 a fortnight...we have lots of different emotional rides with the practices of this kind of parenting absolutely different from our way...it’s almost unbelievable but we are fighting thru....
My crafting has almost stopped as I’m busy between the child and my parents and trying to keep working and a house. It’s not easy but I am looking forward way forward to my Winnebago that is going to come into my life in the near future. That what’s keep me going. I’m going to be a boho gypsy. Haha. Dream on Robyn.
I will catch up on my crafty stuff but I did start a new blog for that I just can’t find it. So in search of it here I go until next time. Bye for now.
